Business Chinese Classes

Who takes this class?

Business Chinese is for professionals who use, or will use, Mandarin at work: people who work with Chinese clients, partners or colleagues, travel to China on business, or want a career edge.

Business Mandarin differs from everyday Chinese. It has its own vocabulary, formal expressions and etiquette, so it needs a different focus.

  •  Already working in a specific field? Choose an industry-tailored course, such as finance, law, medicine or trade, built around the language of your profession.
  • Recent graduate, or not sure of your industry yet? Start with General Business Chinese. It builds a solid foundation for any workplace and opens new career doors.
Why should I learn this class?

Always wished you could speak Mandarin clearly and concisely in the field of your business? After completing one of our Business Mandarin Courses, you will be able to analyze business matters and make presentations in Mandarin with specific communication skill. This will empower your professional growth, and also may open the door to new opportunities.

Many overseas Chinese, and even Chinese individuals studying and working abroad, sometimes realize suddenly that their proficiency in professional Chinese is very limited. This is often the result of not practicing Chinese in a professional context.

In reality, there is a significant difference between everyday spoken Chinese and business Chinese. Without learning and practicing, this gap can lead to communication difficulties.
